Customized workplace design

Wherever there is a testing task, there is also always a solution. And, at best, it comes from the German experts for electric safety test technology: SPS electronic.

We from SPS electronic are specialised in developing workplaces that are individually tailored to customer requirements. Whenever very special requirements apply to a particular test task – be it in terms of the sequence of parameters to be tested, the conditions under which it shall be tested or also the kind in which the approval of the test finally takes place – with our expertise and many years of experience we always find an optimal solution.

On this page you can find an excerpt of different workplaces we have already developed for our customers.

Do you have a unique testing need? Put us to the test – we will be happy to develop the right testing system for your needs!

Simple DUT enclosure with light curtain

Due to the large quantities involved, we have developed a DUT enclosure with light curtain for testing electronic components. The interior space is designed to accept the maximum number of test products. Products can be inserted and contacted automatically using an integrated adapter.

Simple DUT enclosure with trap door

The concept shown here was specially developed for test subjects with low quantities. The trap door allows the space inside the DUT enclosure to be used to its fullest potential. In contrast to a concept with a swiveling test hood, there is no restriction here due to a pre-determined radius. Such trap doors are always a good choice if there is sufficient space upwards.

DUT enclosure for hedge trimmers

The workstation presented here for testing electrical hedge trimmers was developed in coordination with our customer. The customer needed a solution allowing for ergonomic testing of two hedge trimmers at the same time.

Double width DUT enclosure with glare protection

This workstation was developed in order to test specialised high power floodlights. LED floodlights are mounted on the ceilings of factories in order to light up entire manufacturing halls. Therefore, the task for this workstation not only required protecting testing personnel from dangerous testing voltages, but also ensuring they were not blinded while completing the test.

DUT enclosure with adapter on carriage

In this example, a DUT enclosure with an angled trap door was developed to test submersible pumps. Since the submersible pumps also needed to be subjected to a leak test and functional test in addition to the safety test, they needed more “complex” contactors. Due to the relatively high weight of the test subjects, an adapter on a transport carriage was selected as an addition to the trap door.
