The data acquisition and remote control software DAT 3810 offers a comprehensive solution for controlling, executing, and evaluating testing processes – for both standalone devices and customized test systems.
Overview of Functions
1. Create – Intuitive Test Program Creation
In editor mode, various test programs can be intuitively created and flexibly adapted to the desired test methods and time sequences:
- Easy creation of complex test sequences using mouse and keyboard
- Free design of the test sequence within the programs
- Clear representation of programmed test methods, such as: Continuity test, Protective conductor test, High voltage test, etc.
- Storage of an unlimited number of programs on the hard drive or network: XML format, ACCESS database, SQL database
- Password protection
2. Parameterization – Flexible Adjustment of Test Methods
The parameters within the individual test methods can also be adjusted as needed:
- Complete and simple parameterization of individual test methods, e.g., for high voltage test: Test time, Ramp time, Test voltage, Trip current, etc.
- Through program branching, the further test sequence can be controlled depending on the result of the test step.
- Text and image display steps to guide the tester or request additional information
3. Testing – Efficient Execution of Tests
Once the desired test sequence has been defined, the testing process can be started:
In the "TESTING" module, the selected sequence of the current test program is displayed.
During the current test step, the results are displayed, along with the progress of completed steps.
A manual single-step mode facilitates troubleshooting in complex tests.

4. Results – Comprehensive Evaluation & Documentation
The results can be easily analyzed, stored, and further processed:
To enable seamless proof of testing, the test results are saved together with the measured values in XM
L format, ACCESS database, or SQL database.
Thus, easy further processing in external programs is ensured.
